The Lion, and the Lamb = Jerry and the Elder

Its the first day of March and it sure did not come in like a lion nor did it come in like a lamb.. it is kinda a little of both today..Warm and Cold..where I live anyway...the sun is shining and the snow is falling and the Hardware Store Owners cannot decide what to put on sale this week..Snow Shovels or Lawn Mowers... :)

Is that "saying" just an old wife's tale? or do you think it is actually true. Personally I do not believe in that stuff/junk/bs and I think it is just a convenient conversation piece for the 1st and the last day of March.. After all when life gets boring and you are waiting in line at Wal-Mart and it just so happens to be the first day of March..what better way to start a conversation with a stranger than saying..Well, the lamb and the lion could not make up their mind today and they decided to hang out together.. This actually did happen to me today as I was waiting in line at the Wal-Mal on the west end of town..

I just chuckled at the dear old lady speaking, and I responded with: "Maybe we have finally achieved world peace..As the Lion and the Lamb have both decided to hang out together".. She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face and then she said something that made me think about a video I had posted on YouTube back in July of 2006.. She simply said.. What is your definition of Peace?

Now if only all people felt like this..Especially those who have the audacity to leave me nasty messages on my cell phone voice mail..

Listen to it and if you know who this is..kindly remind this person that Christianity especially Hutterite Christianity is not about judgment but about kindness and acceptance of all man-kind, including those who choose to leave the Hutterite Colony.

For those who do understand German..the message basically tells me to "get back to the colony and to quit screwing around on the computer".. He did use some rather colorful German slang to get his point across..

Point is.. I am who I am and you are who you are Mr. Elder, Judge NOT as that is God's Job.

Hutterite Girls Speaking German

This is a video of my sister's girls speaking to me in German. They are talking about cows and horses and they are so cute.

Hutterite kids can only speak german until they start english school when they are around 6 years old. It is then that they are taught the English language.

They actually have 2 schools that they have to attend each day. German school in the morning and English school during the day, and then german school again for an hour at night...

Keeps em busy. And yes yours truly had to go through the same system each and every day until I was 15 years old.
