Tribute to Freddy Wipf

Death is never something we are prepared for but it is something that slaps us into reality now and then especially when it is someone very young, or someone you know or have something in common with.

Those of us who have chosen to leave our home colonies have a bond, a brotherhood, if you wish, and we watch out for each other in both, the good and the bad.

You never really know how much you care until a link from the chain that unites you is suddenly taken from you. In an instant the chain is broken and only time can heal the wounds.

The hardest part perhaps... is the thought of the pain that the family of the fallen has to endure.

I ask you to pray for the family of Freddy Wipf .
